About Me

As a sports specialist, I help athletes to achieve their best by focusing on strength and conditioning, as well as optimal movement patterns and injury prevention. My extensive professional training involves treatment for both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions with a specialized focus on sports science. I work with athletes at all levels, from younger, high-performance participants to elite level competitors to master’s level athletes

My approach considers the whole athlete and factors in how training, diet, lifestyle and more factor into the overall picture. That involves reserving time for more in-depth discussions with clients, which forms the basis for greater mutual understanding and trust during treatment.

As a competitive swimmer and triathlete, I have a powerful appreciation of the athlete’s mindset. Goal-driven, performance-focussed, results-motivated – I understand the determination for improvement and devotion to achievement. As I help clients undertake recovery and rehabilitation, I also emphasize the importance of prevention as part of a successful plan.

While treatment is my overarching goal, the path each client navigates is different for everyone. My evidence-based approach encourages open dialogue and realistic expectations. When my services are enlisted, I aim to keep clients as active as possible within their given circumstances. I consider my role integral to the support network required to help each client achieve optimum performance.
